The Samaritan Group, Inc. (SGI) supporters
are people like you—citizens of Gloucester County who are concerned about the needy of our community.
SGI is a 501(c)3
tax-exempt non-profit corporation with bylaws and a Board of Directors. Our purpose is to develop resources
and to oversee their disbursement in aid to the needy of Gloucester County—those who are eligible for help but do not
qualify for other aid. SGI works in cooperation with the Department of Social Services
to identify those who need help, generally on a one-time basis. SGI depends on donations from grants, civic
groups, churches, individuals, memorials, fundraising and the United Way.
Supporters are encouraged to volunteer to help in various ways—fundraising events, sharing
fundraising ideas Our newsletter is posted on the Gloucester Chamber of Commerce website: www.gloucestervachamber.org

ways to Contribute:
1. Checks of any amount can be accepted at anytime and are greatly appreciated. We are a 501 C (3) tax
exempt organization. Your contributions are tax deductable.
2. Checks to The Samaritan Group Endowment Fund will help us create a permanent
source of funding for the future.
